Emergency services have had to rescue and transfer to the hospital the driver of a car who was seriously injured when the vehicle she was driving left the road while traveling on the RM-714 road (Jumilla-Cieza), at kilometer 8, in the municipality of Jumilla.
The 112 emergency service received a call reporting the accident at 1:38 p.m. The caller indicated that a vehicle had run off the road and its driver was unconscious and trapped inside. Civil Guard patrols, firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium, and a Mobile Emergency Unit with personnel from the 061 Emergency Medical Service were dispatched to the scene.
After being rescued by firefighters, the injured woman (43 years old) was stabilized by paramedics and transferred to the "Virgen de la Arrixaca" hospital in Murcia.
