The Holy Christ of Consolation will be in procession in Murcia this Saturday.

The brotherhood of the Santísimo Cristo del Consuelo will parade with its titular image, andIn the city of Murcia, this Saturday, November 11th, as part of the activities planned for the Third International Congress of Brotherhoods and Sisterhoods, organized by the Superior Council of Brotherhoods of the capital and the San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM). Under the motto "Saved by the Cross of Christ," experts from Spain, Italy, Colombia, and Peru will discuss the event.

The response from the Diocese's brotherhoods and confraternities has been very positive, according to Ramón Sánchez-Parra, president of the Murcia Chapter.

Among the Congress activities will be prominent presentations, exhibitions, Masses, a visit to Caravaca de la Cruz to celebrate the Jubilee, a performance of the sacred drama "Jesus of Nazareth," and more. Likewise, the processions that express God's love for humanity, manifested in Jesus Christ, will be commemorated through the beauty of their images, with the celebration of the procession with floats from the Region on Saturday the 11th.

The Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Consolation will transport the image to Murcia this Tuesday, November 7, so the Hermitage of the Most Holy Christ of Consolation will remain closed until Sunday, November 12, when the Christ will be resting at home.

The Holy Christ will remain on display in Murcia at the Church of San Antolín Martír, along with the other thrones and images that will be carried in the Magna procession on Saturday.
