The Councillor for Works and Infrastructure, Francisco Saorín, reports the completion of the works in this peripheral area of the municipality, works that have lasted 2 months and that have allowed the paving of all the roads in said neighborhood, the repainting of the road lines, the placement of both horizontal and vertical signage and the formation of a pedestrian crossing to cross the Cañada de la Horta, which will soon have traffic light regulation.
According to Saorín, “improving the quality of life for citizens is always the primary objective of any project. That's why last year we contacted the residents' association to learn about their needs, and as a result, we have carried out two different projects: one for sidewalk replacement, which took place last year, and the current one for road resurfacing and traffic light and road regulation.”
“Therefore, I am very pleased that, with the 100,000 euros that the project has cost, we have been able to address historical needs and demands in this area, which joins others where we have already acted and others where we will act, both within the Works and Services Plan and with entirely municipal actions and projects.”
