On the night of this past Wednesday, January 3rd, at 10:32 p.m., a small earthquake was recorded in our neighboring town of Abarán. The tremor did not cause any personal or property damage.
The earthquake's epicenter was located southwest of Abarán, its hypocenter was 11 kilometers deep, and it registered a magnitude of 1.7 on the Richter scale.
The tremor was not felt by the citizens.
