At 11:49 a.m., emergency services responded to a hiker with a possible ankle fracture in the Almadenes Canyon near the power plant in the municipality of Calasparra.
An Environmental Agent, the Civil Guard, and the helicopter from the Ministry of the Presidency and Development were dispatched to the scene, along with the Air Rescue Group of the Murcia Region Firefighting and Rescue Consortium.
The patient was rescued by the Air Rescue Group and transferred to a Mobile Emergency Unit of the 061 Emergency and Health Management Department, which was waiting for her transfer to Caravaca de la Cruz Hospital due to the difficulty of accessing the football field by land.
