On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., the "Basketball and Women" Roundtable, organized by CD Siyasa Basket, was held at the Padre Salmerón Library in Cieza.
On this occasion, three distinguished speakers were present:
- Cristina Aguilera, Molina Basket National 1st Division Player.
- Cristina Sanz, CMAAB Arbitrator.
- Laura Fernández Corbalán, Real Murcia National 1st Division Player.
For over an hour, masterfully moderated by Mª Luisa Ortiz, they presented their perspective on the evolving role of women in the sport of basketball, based on their personal experiences and experiences in the various areas covered by the sport.
They also answered questions and concerns from the large audience that filled the room.
The Siyasa Basket Club is grateful for the availability and friendliness of these three athletes, as well as the presence of the Mayor and the Councilors for Sports and Women of the Cieza City Council.
