The Atalaya Antipatriarchal Collective has presented a transgender workshop where the main objective is to transcend the genders assigned to us by society.
They consider the male/female dualism that defines our sexual identity from the moment we are born to be too narrow and simplistic. The goal is to blur the boundaries that separate (and often conflict) these two identities.
They want to do so with the clear awareness that these identities are not natural but cultural constructs. Thus, during the workshop, an appropriation exercise will be carried out.
