The training committee of the Junta de Hermandades Pasionarias organized a discussion last Thursday at 9 p.m. on the progress of Holy Week in Cieza, one of the various activities planned for this Lent.
The event, which brought together almost a hundred people, took place in the Boardroom of the Holy Week Museum and was attended by Antonia Sánchez (vice president of the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Forgiveness), Pascual Santos (secretary of the Brotherhood of the Prayer in the Garden and Holy Sepulchre), Pascuala Ruiz (secretary of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Solitude) and Joaquín Bastida (president of the Brotherhood of Souls), and was moderated by Mª del Mar Morcillo, training member of the JHP.
Throughout the session, various topics were discussed, such as lost and preserved traditions, religiosity during Holy Week, audience interest, and the challenges facing Holy Week, among others; it generated a rich discussion among those present.
The Board of Passion Brotherhoods would like to thank those who generously volunteered to participate, as well as all those who attended, and hopes that the rest of the events this Lent will be as well-attended and crowded as last Thursday's.
