A 37-year-old woman was treated by emergency medical services and taken to the hospital after a traffic accident on the A-30 highway, at km 104, in the municipality of Cieza.
1-1-2 received a call reporting the accident at 9:12 a.m. A report indicated that a vehicle had been involved in a rear-end collision and that its two occupants were trapped inside. Civil Guard patrols, ambulances with medical personnel from the Emergency and Urgent Care Department of the Murcia Health Service, and firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium (CEIS) were dispatched to the scene.
After being rescued by firefighters, one of the two occupants was treated by paramedics and taken to the Lorenzo Guirao Hospital in Cieza with injuries that were apparently not serious.
