Emergency services have rescued and taken three people injured in a traffic accident to hospital after a van collided with a car at the entrance to Ascoy, near a gas station and a furniture factory.
At 3 p.m., 1-1-2 received several calls reporting the accident and requesting medical assistance for three injured people, as well as firefighters, since two of the injured were trapped.
Local police patrols, firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium (CEIS), a medical unit with medical personnel from the 061 Emergency and Health Management Department, and two chartered ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
Once freed by the firefighters, paramedics from the aforementioned department treated them on-site and transferred them to the Lorenzo Guirao hospital in Cieza.
