At 7:30 a.m., the 1-1-2 Emergency Coordination Center received a call reporting a head-on collision between a car and a van transporting workers. The accident occurred on the RM-714 highway in the municipality of Cieza.
Civil Guard units and an ambulance from the 061 Emergency and Emergency Management Service were dispatched to the scene. Upon seeing the large number of injured, their personnel had to request additional units for transport.
The accident caused a total of ten injuries, none seriously. All the injured, men between the ages of 18 and 53, have been taken to the Vega Lorenzo Guirao Hospital in Cieza.
