Within the annual agreement between the Cieza City Council through the Department for the Elderly with the La Caixa Banking Foundation, and in collaboration with the AMUVIN Association, the Veranalia project is carried out, with the aim of enabling volunteer senior citizens and children to work together on values of coexistence.

Intergenerational relationships are essential to foster connections between people of different ages and their mutual enrichment. To this end, ICTs will be used as a tool for interaction.

During the summer holidays, taking advantage of the fact that children are not in school, volunteers will offer a workshop on the importance of volunteering and charitable activities. The workshop will combine the use of new technologies with other activities and group dynamics. Around 20 children between the ages of 6 and 12 will attend.

The virtual platform developed by the "la Caixa" Foundation offers a wealth of content and educational materials, as well as a training video and a facilitator's guide. In this way, adults and children can use new technologies to work together on various topics.
