This Friday, September 8, the Virgin of Buen Suceso returns to Cieza for her Solemn Triduum, and her subsequent ascent back to her shrine on the Atalaya hill on Sunday, September 24, after mass.

The descent from the Atalaya Hermitage begins at 4:00 p.m. Coaches will depart for the Atalaya Pass at 3:30 p.m. from the Camino de Madrid, next to the Madre del Divino Pastor School.
They are expected to arrive at the Iron Bridge at approximately 7:00 p.m. After arriving, the parade will begin, accompanied by authorities, the clergy, the Municipal Music Band, the Francisco Salzillo Choir and Dance Group, and the general public.
Planned route: Cuesta del Río, Don Narciso Street, Cadenas Street, Mesones Street, San Sebastián Street, Buitragos Street, Cánovas del Castillo Street, San Pedro Street and Plaza Mayor.
Upon arrival at 9:00 p.m. at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption, a Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. José Antonio García López, parish priest of Our Lady of the Assumption. This will be followed by a floral offering and a kiss of the feet of the Child Jesus.
