Siyâsa volunteers organize the 2nd Conference Seminar "On the History of Women: Antiquity"

Siyâsa volunteers will organize the 2nd Conference Seminar "On the History of Women: Antiquity" from March 7 to 14. The event will take place at the Siyâsa Museum, with free admission until capacity is reached.

The first of the lectures will be held this Thursday and will be led by Francisco Peñalver, director of the Cehegín Archaeological Museum, who will speak on "Women in Roman and Byzantine Iconography."

Later, on March 13, José Antonio Molina, professor of Ancient History and dean of the Faculty of Letters at the University of Murcia, will give a lecture on "Perpetua: mother, writer, and Roman martyr."

Finally, the series will conclude with "Women in Iberian Culture" by archaeologist Rosa María Gualda.

All lectures will begin at 7:30 p.m.
