The mill received water through an aqueduct, where the driving force was used to move its large stones and other elements of the mill, as it was dedicated to the production of flour by grinding wheat. Interestingly, it owes its name to the last owner and miller who took over in the early 20th century.

The mill was fully restored for its maintenance and subsequent tourist visits, as well as for the construction of a nature classroom inside, now converted into a tourist information point. It is also located next to the Atalaya Rural Complex, which consists of a nature classroom, a hostel, and a rural house, now managed by AFEMCE Cieza.

The mill is divided into two floors and a basement. The first floor houses the sifting and sifting chamber, and the basement contains the rectangular aqueduct or sump. The mill's interior also houses an interesting collection of period machinery and utensils used by flour millers of the time.

The Molino de Teodoro or Cebolla is a flour mill located on the outskirts of Cieza, dating back to the 15th century, in the area known as the Strait, next to the Segura River and under the Andelma irrigation canal, which received water through an aqueduct, where the driving force was used to move its […]
