The City Council's Departments of Citizen Participation and Culture present a new edition of "T\u00edrate al Barrio," a program that aims to bring culture and leisure to the streets.<\/p>\n
This year's event features activities in various public spaces with the aim of decentralizing leisure and cultural activities, creating diverse meeting points for the municipality's residents.<\/p>\n
The program, presented this Tuesday by Councilor Concepci\u00f3n Villa, was developed in collaboration with various neighborhood associations and will begin this Thursday, June 16, in Santa Clara Park with a theater workshop, and will run until mid-July.<\/p>\n
The program will feature a variety of activities for a wide range of audiences, including storytelling, painting workshops, dance games, and a summer cinema.<\/p>\n
Villa, head of Citizen Participation and Culture, states that "this program aims to bring culture to different neighborhoods, encouraging the decentralization of spaces to ensure that activities are enjoyed by the largest possible number of citizens. I am convinced that the backbone of our society is the neighborhoods and their residents, which is why it is important that we have access to culture right at our doorsteps."<\/p>\n
The various activities offered by the program will take place in public spaces in different neighborhoods of the city and are free of charge.<\/p>\n
