The event, organized by the <strong>Az\u00e1Rock Cultural Association for Leisure and Free Time<\/strong>, has become a launching pad for new talent from all over the country, with more than 100 singers participating.<\/p>\n<p>The grand finale will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at the Cervantes Theater in Abar\u00e1n, starting at 7:00 PM. The four finalists will compete to win the Golden Az\u00e1, worth \u20ac800, for best male or female singer-songwriter; and the Silver Az\u00e1, worth \u20ac250, for the best lyrics among the finalists. The awards were presented by Abar\u00e1n artist Diego Maniso.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the performances of the finalists from across Spain\u2014Andr\u00e9s Iwasaki (Seville), Beatriz Gonz\u00e1lez (Malaga), Luismi Partera (C\u00e1diz), and Micu y Mar\u00eda (Madrid)\u2014a professional jury composed of prominent figures in regional culture will decide who will win the festival&#039;s two awards. The competition will also feature a performance by renowned singer-songwriter Pedro Guerra, who is visiting the municipality of Abar\u00e1n for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Having Pedro Guerra on board for our second edition of the Az\u00e1utor Competition is a milestone for the Association, which year after year strives to bring the most diverse aspects of the national music scene to the town of Abar\u00e1n.
