{"id":11595,"date":"2023-06-15T15:31:27","date_gmt":"2023-06-15T13:31:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ciezaentumano.com\/?p=11595"},"modified":"2023-06-15T15:31:27","modified_gmt":"2023-06-15T13:31:27","slug":"cieza-recibe-una-subvencion-de-271-118e-de-fondos-next-generation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ciezaentumano.com\/en\/cieza-recibe-una-subvencion-de-271-118e-de-fondos-next-generation\/","title":{"rendered":"Cieza receives a \u20ac271,118 grant from Next Generation Funds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\">The Cieza City Council has been awarded a \u20ac271,118.67 grant, as established in the provisional resolution of the General Directorate of Regional and Local Cooperation of the Ministry of Territorial Policy, within the framework of the call for modernization and digitalization projects for local entities.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The Department of Strategic Projects has secured funding for the implementation of two key projects: expansion of fiber optic infrastructure, renewal of network electronics and hardware upgrades, and, secondly, implementation of RPA and Blockchain technologies to improve the efficiency of citizen services.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Of the total amount awarded, \u20ac244,283.08 corresponds to the maximum allocated to each entity in the Order. In addition, the Cieza City Council has obtained an additional \u20ac26,835.59 through the distribution of funds among entities that did not submit applications, thanks to the provision for submitting complementary projects in order to receive a higher amount.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The main objectives of these initiatives are to improve the quality of services provided by the Cieza City Council, establishing it as a modern, agile, and open local government; streamline procedures for citizens, reducing response times; increase the efficiency of municipal workers; and facilitate administrative procedures for citizens by providing public employees with the necessary resources.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The acting Councilor for Strategic Projects, Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas L\u00f3pez, stated that &quot;this grant represents further support for the management of this government, which since 2015 has been committed to managing European funds and the 2030 Agenda. It is in addition to the more than 14 million euros obtained from European Funds, which will transform the lives of the people of Cieza.
