A work by Alberto M\u00e1rquez Ruiz has won first prize in the 8th National Open-Air Painting Competition "Rincones de Cieza," organized by the Department of Culture and sponsored by various local businesses. The winner received 1,000 euros donated by Aguas de Cieza.<\/p>\n
The second prize, established by the rules, of 700 euros and donated by the Benedicto Service Station, went to Blay Tom\u00e1s Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the third prize, 600 euros donated by Agroqu\u00edmicos Lucas, went to Mar\u00eda Teresa Dur\u00e1 Sepulcre.<\/p>\n
A fourth prize, worth 500 euros donated by Farmacia Joqu\u00edn Jord\u00e1n, was also awarded to a work by David Escalbajal Aguado.<\/p>\n
Finally, the special prize for a local artist went to Francisco Moreno G\u00f3mez, who won 200 euros, donated by Irel, and a season ticket to the Capitol Theatre.<\/p>\n
The jury was pleased to award a second prize of 100 euros, donated by Farmacia Joaqu\u00edn Jord\u00e1n, to Jos\u00e9 Luis Angulo Crossa, leaving the work as the author's property.<\/p>\n
The jury comprised Mar\u00eda \u00c1ngeles S\u00e1ez S\u00e1nchez, Antonia Fern\u00e1ndez Bernal, Rafael Torres Buitrago, Higinio Mart\u00ednez Morote, and Jes\u00fas Moreno Guardiola, with Bartolom\u00e9 Avellaneda L\u00f3pez as secretary.<\/p>\n
