One of the most important gastronomic fairs in the Region of Murcia is undergoing a conceptual transformation with a revamped slogan, a new location, and a new management. From February 29th to March 3rd, the Parque Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias will be a sight to behold. The three Michelin-starred chefs from the Region of Murcia will be on display.<\/p>\n
'Taste Cieza', the Cieza Gastronomic Fair that is part of the tourism project Bloom<\/a> 2024<\/strong>, will offer a renewed offering between February 29th and March 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias, providing visitors with a satisfaction that is difficult to replace.<\/p>\n The presentation was led by the Mayor of Cieza, Tom\u00e1s Rubio, and the Councilor for Commerce and Hospitality, Gertrudis Juli\u00e1, this Tuesday morning in the tasting room of the Estrella de Levante facilities in Espinardo, with the presence of its communications manager, Yayo Delgado. The Director General of Tourism Competitiveness and Quality, Patricio S\u00e1nchez L\u00f3pez, was representing the Autonomous Community. Also present were food critics Sergio Gallego, Paco Rosa, and Concha Anc\u00e1ntara.<\/p>\n Degusta Cieza will combine all the ingredients for success. In its new location in Parque Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias, accessible from the A-30 via the Cieza Centro exit, there will be more space for dining and entertainment, as well as a Mini Gourmet area for children that includes cooking workshops and activities.<\/p>\n The event will feature three Michelin-starred chefs from the Murcia region: Pablo Gonz\u00e1lez-Conejero from La Caba\u00f1a restaurant; Mar\u00eda G\u00f3mez from Magoga; and Juan Guillam\u00f3n from Almo.<\/p>\n Nine presentations will be given, including some local restaurateurs. All of these will include tastings of typical Cieza products, concerts, a DJ, and more. In short, there will be more than a hundred different culinary offerings over the four days, along with a novel and highly aesthetic roofing and air-conditioning system. Wines, Estrella de Levante beer, Coca-Cola Group soft drinks, a cocktail bar, a barbecue area, and several areas with low and high tables to make it easy for all visitors to enjoy the tapas.<\/p>\n Patricio S\u00e1nchez praised "the work being done by the Cieza City Council to position this gastronomic fair among the most important in the region" and guaranteed all necessary support from the Autonomous Community.<\/p>\n Juli\u00e1, for his part, noted that "this is, without a doubt, a step in the right direction for strengthening the relationship between gastronomy and tourism. The presence of local restaurants and bars at this fair represents an opportunity for Cieza to show visitors the reasons for its current position in the restaurant industry in the Region of Murcia."<\/p>\n To establish itself as one of the best gastronomic events held throughout Murcia. That's the goal of 'Degusta Cieza,' a culinary event that will transform the city of Vega Alta into the region's gastronomic capital for four days.<\/p>\n Floraci\u00f3n has become one of the most complete inland destinations in the Region of Murcia. In Cieza, everyone can find the perfect combination of nature, heritage, sports, culture, and gastronomy for an unforgettable stay. "Nothing compares to the feeling of well-being when contemplating a field of fruit trees in bloom," Gertrudis Juli\u00e1 added.<\/p>\n Finally, Mayor Tom\u00e1s Rubio emphasized that "there is no doubt that gastronomy and tourism are increasingly merging. We can safely say that gastronomic tourism is continually on the rise, becoming one of the most powerful attractions for all types of visitors."<\/p>\n In Tom\u00e1s Rubio's opinion, it is possible to "link the native gastronomy of a land to the cultural identity of the people who inhabit it.
