This week, the Cieza City Council's Department of the Environment once again launched its Annual Environmental Volunteer Program. This program brings together associations and groups from the city that, in an altruistic and committed manner, have significantly contributed to the conservation and improvement of the municipality's natural landscapes, especially around the Segura River as it flows through the city.<\/p>\n
Since its inception, the Environmental Volunteer Program has been an effective catalyst for citizen participation in sustainable projects, consolidating the community's commitment to environmental preservation. "Year after year, we have witnessed the effort and dedication of associations and groups that have embraced this initiative with a selfless spirit," municipal sources note.<\/p>\n
During the presentation meeting with associations and groups, Environment Councilor Manuel Mart\u00ednez expressed his gratitude to all the individuals and organizations that have contributed over the years to ensuring that the program continues to be a driving force for positive change in Cieza.<\/p>\n
