{"id":13706,"date":"2024-04-26T16:00:41","date_gmt":"2024-04-26T14:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ciezaentumano.com\/?p=13706"},"modified":"2024-07-04T15:42:17","modified_gmt":"2024-07-04T13:42:17","slug":"un-pequeno-quinteto-nocturno-gran-exito-para-la-musica-en-cieza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ciezaentumano.com\/en\/un-pequeno-quinteto-nocturno-gran-exito-para-la-musica-en-cieza\/","title":{"rendered":"A small nocturnal quintet, a great success for music in Cieza"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This Sunday, April 21, during the second day of the &#039;Matin\u00e9s del Capitol&#039;, the renowned pianist Jos\u00e9 Alberto del Cerro performed Beethoven&#039;s acclaimed Piano Concerto No. 3, accompanied by a string quintet (formed by violinists Fulgencio Aparicio and Judit Agull\u00f3; violist Mat\u00edas Mayordomo; cellist Adri\u00e1n L\u00f3pez; and double bassist Jos\u00e9 Luis Tovar), which previously performed Mozart&#039;s Little Night Serenade, so beloved in the town.<\/p>\n<p>The performance of all the works\u2014Mozart&#039;s serenade, Beethoven&#039;s concerto, and Shostakovich&#039;s Andante\u2014was sublime. The audience remained glued to their seats, completely silent, unable to take their eyes and ears off the stage, from where the musicians conveyed all the passion and sensitivity the works required.<\/p>\n<p>This highlights the need for and value of classical music in Cieza; despite coinciding with other events, the theater was packed, also attended by the Councilor for Culture, Mar\u00eda Turp\u00edn, and the Councilor for Youth, Cristo Manuel Lucas, as representatives of the local government.<\/p>\n<p>The Cieza Philharmonic&#039;s program at the Capitol Theater will continue on May 11th with a concert featuring the entire Philharmonic Orchestra performing Beethoven&#039;s magnificent Fifth Symphony, among other works.
