Based in Cieza, it is the first brigade to act as primary reinforcement for any forest fire that breaks out in the Region of Murcia, making itself available to the firefighting department.<\/p>\n<p>The BRIMUR is commanded by an environmental officer, and its main asset is its extreme mobility, as it can be activated and helitransported to any part of the region\u2014or to support other autonomous communities if necessary\u2014in a matter of minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The Brigade is made up of 20 forest firefighters who form a daily team of 12, along with a foreman-coordinator. The Brigade also has a 4,000-liter capacity 4x4 firefighting vehicle.
