The objective of this<br \/>\npromotional action was to publicize the natural spectacles of the flowering of the<br \/>\nalmond tree in Mula and peach blossom in Cieza, with a view to attracting flows<br \/>\nof visitors from Japan.<\/p>\n<h3>The first destination visited was the town of Mula<\/h3>\n<p>The program began with the arrival of the delegation headed by Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas<br \/>\nVicente (destination management manager) and Ayako Totsuka (destination<br \/>\ndevelopment executive) and representatives of Spain in Floraci\u00f3n a Mula, where<br \/>\nwere welcomed by the town&#039;s mayor, Juan Jes\u00fas Moreno. After enjoying<br \/>\nof the local gastronomy at the Casas Nuevas Inn, they made a route<br \/>\nguided through the fields of almond trees in bloom, one of the most beautiful landscapes<br \/>\nemblematic of the country that has exponentially increased the arrival of<br \/>\nvisitors this year and has the first flowering on the European continent, with<br \/>\nwhite and pinkish tones, and the largest extension of fields in production of<br \/>\nalmond trees of the country.<\/p>\n<h3>Visit to the flowering fields of Cieza<\/h3>\n<p>On Tuesday, February 25th, it was the turn of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ciezaentumano.com\/en\/la-floracion-cieza\/\">Flowering of stone fruit trees<\/a>, in<br \/>\npeach special from Cieza. After resting in a charming accommodation in<br \/>\nthe town, such as the Hospeder\u00eda San Sebasti\u00e1n, with views of the flowering orchard with the<br \/>\nSegura River, were received by the councilor for tourism of the city council of the<br \/>\nlocality, Mar\u00eda Turp\u00edn, who explained the unique characteristics of this flowering of<br \/>\n13,000 hectares that stands out for having the greatest chromatic variety of flowers in the world.<br \/>\nworld. Also in attendance was professor and photographer Fernando Galindo, who &#039;discovered&#039; this phenomenon in the 1980s and promoted it.<br \/>\nwhich has become in recent years one of the best-known blooms<br \/>\nof the country.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14469 size-medium alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/ciezaentumano.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-02-26-at-19.57.38-300x210.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"210\" \/>The Japanese delegation was able to learn about the active tourism company Experiencias Tur\u00edsticas (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.floraciondecieza.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.floraciondecieza.com<\/a>) coordinated by Spain in Bloom, the flowering sites of Cieza such as the Mirador de la Macet\u00faa, the Horno, and the La Floraci\u00f3n Agrotourism Estate, where the Cieza Peach Interpretation Center is located. The visit continues through the Ricote Valley, visiting the Noria Grande de Abar\u00e1n and the Mirador del Alto de Bayna, ending with a traditional meal in the panoramic restaurant.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jardinesdevillanueva.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> www.jardinesdevillanueva.es<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This fam trip is part of Spain in Bloom&#039;s strategy to promote the country&#039;s flowering destinations associated with the brand and the Spain in Bloom Club in international markets. This initiative received the award for Best Active Tourism Product in the country at the last edition of Fitur.
