The public of Cieza will be able to enjoy the Vidas Vocal Quartet, considered the best group
\nfemale vocalist of Cuban music. Vocal Vidas is a musical group founded in 2012 in
\nSantiago de Cuba, birthplace of son and traditional Cuban music. The four women of Vocal
\nLives interpret different genres of Cuban and universal popular music (jazz, soul, etc.)
\nthrough a peculiar format (2 sopranos and 2 contraltos).<\/p>\n
Its members are Ana Josefina Hern\u00e1ndez (conductor-soprano); Annia del Toro Leyva (contralto),
\nLiette Carmenates Mariol (mezzo-soprano) and Darina Ortiz Miranda (contralto) are professionals
\nof singing with a long individual career both in Cuba and outside the island, participating in
\nvarious national and international events. As a group, they were award winners
\nmost important Cuban music competition, Cubadisco, in the Vocal Group category
\nInstrumental in the year 2016.<\/p>\n
His discography is composed of the works: Vocal Vidas (2012), production album
\nindependent; Song and Life (2016), album released under the EGREM label, produced by the
\nmaestro, Rafael Guedes, composer and director of the Camerata del Son, and with the collaboration of
\nComposer Rodulfo Vaillant; Living to Sing It, an album released under the Colibr\u00ed label: (2020),
\nproduced by Rafael Guedes.<\/p>\n
Starring in the award-winning documentary Soy cubana (2 parts) (2016), a documentary that
\nIt addresses the art of singing and acting, as well as the political climate and the lives of four women.
\nwho have sacrificed a lot to continue singing together.<\/p>\n
A show of true delight for music lovers in general and vocal music lovers.
