The Cieza City Council, through the Department of Women and Equality,
\nwants to highlight the importance of respect, equity and the elimination of
\nsexist stereotypes.<\/p>\n
\u201cGender equality is an achievement that must involve the whole of society, both
\nto men as well as women, since it is a matter of human rights and
\nsocial justice, which in turn is essential for the achievement of a
\nprosperous and sustainable society.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe potential and importance of educating the youngest children is undeniable.
\nyoung people to build people who do not assume stereotypes or sexist roles
\nthat perpetuate inequality between men and women.\u201d<\/p>\n
For all these reasons, the Department of Women and Equality, together with the Department of Education,
\nwants to highlight the importance of commemorating the International Day of
\nNon-Sexist Education.<\/p>\n
To commemorate this day, the Department of Women and Equality has prepared
\nsome bookmarks that will be distributed by the Library staff
\nFather Salmer\u00f3n from June 21st to all boys and girls who visit
