Next Saturday, October 18, 2025, the event will take place at the Oj\u00f3s Cultural Center.
\nStarting at 10:00 a.m., the fourth call for the Congress of Oj\u00f3s and the Valley of
\nRicote. Tradition and History in the Mediterranean, coordinated by historians
\nRicardo Montes Bern\u00e1rdez and Pascual Santos L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n

The Congress is organized by the Fray Pasqual Salmer\u00f3n Center for Historical Studies of
\nCieza together with the Oj\u00f3s City Council and is sponsored by the Ministry of
\nTourism, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Region of Murcia, Costa C\u00e1lida Region
\nfrom Murcia, the Mediterranean House and the Nativity Scene Museum of the World of Oj\u00f3s.
\nAround twenty experts in History, Archaeology,
\nHeritage, Art, Nature, Anthropology, Ethnography, Literature, Industry, Science,
\nTechnology and Environment of the Ricote Valley and other parts of Spain, with
\nfour blocks of proposals: Moriscos, Historical Contributions, Art and
\nReligiosity and, finally, Biographies and Environment.<\/p>\n

The Center for Historical Studies will participate, in addition to organizing the
\nevent, with the presentation of several papers by historians of the association,
\nrelated to the History of Cieza and the Ricote Valley. The communications are
\nwill take place throughout the day from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and admission is
\nfree until full capacity.<\/p>\n
