The Councillor for Sustainable Mobility and Transport, Cristo Manuel Lucas,
\nHe represented Mayor Tom\u00e1s Rubio's government team this Friday in
\nthe meeting of the Cartagena-Albacete Railway Corridor Commission,
\nafter the City Council unanimously approved the membership
\nfrom Cieza to the aforementioned commission promoted by the Association of
\nConsumers and Users Network (CONSUMUR).<\/p>\n
During the meeting held in the University's Graduation Hall
\nPolytechnic University of Cartagena, in which representatives of
\nadministrations, political parties, universities and organizations
\nsocial services in Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia and the Region of Murcia, are
\napproved the work plan for the coming months.<\/p>\n
In addition, the commission presented a communication project to strengthen
\nthe public dissemination of its objectives and to encourage citizen involvement in
\nthe recovery and modernization of this railway infrastructure
\nstrategic.<\/p>\n
The president of CONSUMUR, Roberto Barcel\u00f3 Vivancos, highlighted the
\nimportance of \u201cbringing the relevance of the railway axis closer to the public
\nCartagena\u2013Albacete in the economic and social structuring of the southeast
\nSpanish".<\/p>\n
With this participation, the Cieza City Council reaffirms its commitment
\nwith sustainable mobility and with the defense of a modern and efficient rail transport system that promotes the economic development of the municipality and
