A total of 30 companies from the Region of Murcia will participate from next Monday in the 39th edition of the Sal\u00f3n Gourmets, the main European fair for high-quality food and beverages, which will be held at Ifema Madrid from April 13 to 16.<\/p>\n
The regional presence at this professional meeting \u201cwill serve to further promote Murcian agri-food products in one of the main showcases of the gourmet sector at a national and international level,\u201d highlighted the Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Sara Rubira, who recalled that \u201cthis fair is a strategic opportunity to continue positioning the quality and excellence of the products of the Region of Murcia in the most demanding markets.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Community's institutional space will host tastings, gastronomic demonstrations and meetings with professionals from the distribution, hospitality and catering sectors during the four days of the fair, with the aim of fostering new business opportunities.<\/p>\n
Rubira stressed that \u201cthe quality of our food, the innovation of our companies and the strength of the regional agri-food industry are our best calling cards.\u201d<\/p>\n
This year's edition is expected to bring together more than 2,000 national and international exhibitors and is expected to exceed 110,000 professional visitors, consolidating its position as one of the major European events for premium products.<\/p>\n
