In the case of urban birds, the continued provision of bread or other unsuitable foods can also negatively impact the behavior of wildlife. Some insectivorous birds may reduce their insect capture or alter the composition of their usual diet, disrupting their natural feeding patterns and affecting the ecological balance of the environment.<\/p>\n
The constant presence of food in urban environments not only attracts cats and pigeons, but also other opportunistic species such as rats, cockroaches, and various insects, increasing sanitation problems and hindering street cleaning efforts.
