The patron saint of Cieza, the Blessed Virgin of Good Success, faces her final week at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption, where she welcomes the hundreds of Ciezans who visit her every day.<\/p>\n
This Saturday 16th<\/strong> On September 1st, a floral offering will take place in her honor starting at 8:00 p.m. All interested parties must inform us before the Mass begins. At the conclusion of the Mass, children who wish to do so will be passed under the mantle of the Blessed Virgin of Buen Suceso.<\/p>\n In another order of things, the Wednesday 20th<\/strong> On September 1st, the triduum in honor of the Patron Saint of Cieza begins at 8:00 p.m.; this year, three preachers from Cieza will be in charge of officiating.<\/p>\n He Saturday 23rd<\/strong> On September 1st, after the religious service which will be officiated by the Rev. D. Jos\u00e9 Antonio Garc\u00eda L\u00f3pez, councilor of the Board of Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza, the act of ascending to the Sanctuary with the 'Light of Life' will take place together with the parish priest D. Sa\u00fal S\u00e1nchez Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n The Atalaya hill will host a popular festival starting at 9:30 p.m. with a corresponding musical performance beginning at 10:00 p.m.<\/p>\n Please note that there will be a bus service on Saturday from 8:30 p.m. (Cuesta del Molino Street \u2013 Duque de Rivas Street).
