The City Council\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0Cieza<\/span>\u00a0in collaboration with the\u00a0Headquarters<\/span>\u00a0of University Extension of<\/span>\u00a0Murcia in\u00a0Cieza<\/span>, has created a competition for the design\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span>a logo that serves\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0identifying image for the\u00a0Headquarters<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The deadline for submission\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0proposals will be at 8:00 p.m. on the 22nd\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span>October\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a02017.<\/p>\n

BASES:<\/strong>
\n1. OBJECTIVES<\/strong>
\nThe objective is to design a logo that serves as an identifying image of the Extension Headquarters
\nUniversity of Murcia in Cieza. It will be used as a distinctive symbol alongside the logo of the
\nUniversity of Murcia in the various activities organized by the Headquarters and also in the
\nsocial networks.
\nThere will be a single prize, for the winning logo.<\/p>\n

2. PARTICIPANTS<\/strong>
\nAny natural person residing in Cieza may participate in the contest.<\/p>\n

4.- PRESENTATION OF PROPOSALS AND SELECTION PROCESS<\/strong>
\nProposals must be submitted digitally via email to the following address:
\nsede.cieza@um.es<\/p>\n

The jury will meet on October 25th in a public session, in the afternoon (time to be determined) in Centro
\nCultural Knitwear, located on Fernando III el Santo Street and will issue the ruling, proceeding to
\nidentify the winner. The logos will be announced on October 27th, as part of
\nthe University Welcome activities.<\/p>\n

5.- DEADLINES<\/strong>
\nThe deadline for submitting proposals begins on September 27, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. The date
\nThe deadline for submitting proposals will be 8:00 p.m. on October 22, 2017.
\nHowever, all deadlines will be reported on the website http:\/\/www.um.es\/web\/vic-formacioninnovacion\/contenido\/formacion-permanente\/sedes-permanentes\/cieza
\nwith enough
\nin advance.<\/p>\n

6.- DOCUMENTATION TO BE PRESENTED BY THE CONTESTANTS<\/strong>
\nThe logo proposed for the competition must be presented in color and black and white with the
\nfollowing features: \u2013 JPG format \u2013 300 dpi resolution. \u2013 10\u00d710 cm size.
\nThe following nomenclature will be used to name the two files that make up the
\nproposal: \u2013 logo_color for your presentation in color \u2013 logo_bn for your presentation in black and white
\nblack.<\/p>\n

Since the logo will be used in multiple media, the winner of the
\nThe contest will also present its vector formats.
\nAlong with the files of the proposed logo, those who participate will attach them in the same email.
\nelectronic submission to the competition, the registration form attached at the end of these rules,
\nproperly completed and in PDF format.<\/p>\n

8.- JURY<\/strong>
\nThe jury will be composed of:
\nThe Coordinating Council of the Headquarters (which includes the Councillor for Education and the
\nCouncillor for Culture).
\nA teacher from IES Diego Tortosa.
\nA teacher at IES Los Albares.
\nA professor at the University of Murcia.<\/p>\n

9.- EVALUATION CRITERIA<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is essential that the logo be original. The Jury will evaluate, among others, the
\nfollowing aspects:
\n\u2013 Ease of identification of the proposal with the values of the University of Murcia
\n\u2013 Presence of some identifying element of the Cieza population.
\n\u2013 Innovative and creative design
\n\u2013 Adaptability to any dissemination medium.<\/p>\n


\n10.- PRIZE
\n<\/strong>A prize is established, consisting of the delivery of \u20ac100.00 (one hundred euros) for the author of the
\nselected logo.
\nA diploma will also be awarded accrediting the contest, which will use the logo.
\nfor the first time, to all participants.
\nThe acceptance of this prize by the winner of the contest entails the
\ntransfer of exploitation rights, reproduction in any medium or medium, and of the
\nintellectual property, exclusively and for an indefinite period. The prize is
\nwill declare the proposal void if none of the proposals submitted are sufficiently successful
\nsatisfactory for the objectives of the competition.<\/p>\n


\n11.- PROPERTY RIGHTS
\n<\/strong>a) The winner of the competition assigns all rights in relation to the work carried out and
\nsubmitted to the competition to the University Extension Headquarters of Cieza property rights
\nindustrial and intellectual property that may correspond to it in relation to the graphic and the
\nname, as well as any others that may correspond to it, as well as the rights
\nof the author. Likewise, rights related to manipulation are also transferred,
\nediting, exhibition and reproduction.
\nb) The rights to use the winning work will be reserved exclusively to the Headquarters
\nof University Extension of Cieza in Murcia.
\nd) The winner waives without limitation any reservation of rights in his favor or any other
\nright to design.
\ne) The winner will be fully responsible for any claims that may arise from
\nany nature or that third parties may make in this regard, without being exhaustive, to the
\noriginality, similarities or partial copies of the submitted works.<\/p>\n


\n12.- CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
\n<\/strong>Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these rules, and the jury's decision will be final. The results will be announced in the media on October 2017, as indicated above.
