The Nueva Fundaci\u00f3n Los Albares Day Center for people with intellectual disabilities in Cieza, for the first time in its history, which began more than 20 years ago, has managed to fill 1001 public places and currently has a waiting list.<\/p>\n
Twelve more spaces were recently accredited by the CARM's Accreditation and Inspection Service, enabling a total capacity of 57 spaces, of which 17 are private and 40 are contracted.<\/p>\n
Nueva Fundaci\u00f3n will soon renew its Service Management Agreement Extension with IMAS and will request an extension from the General Directorate for Disability to provide the organization with more public places.<\/p>\n
This year, grants have also been obtained from the Regional Employment Service (SEF) to continue the SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT Program, which manages a Job Guidance and Employment Preparation service for people with disabilities, and another program aimed at unemployed people from the Youth Guarantee System "J\u00d3VENES EN GUARANTE" (Youth Guarantee System), which will carry out activities aimed at this group and will hire two users with disabilities.<\/p>\n
The New Los Albares Foundation, which also carries out awareness-raising and inclusion initiatives aimed at the entire population, has received another grant this year to cover the costs of the ALBARES SOUND, A DIVERSITY FESTIVAL, which has already held two editions and which hopes to hold its third in June in 2018 in our municipality.<\/p>\n
