The Ministry of the Presidency and Development will invest more than \u20ac210,000 in the renovation of 158 public housing units in the municipalities of Molina de Segura and Cieza. This was announced by the Director General of Land Use Planning, Architecture, and Housing, Laura Sandoval, who reported that the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) is publishing the tender for both contracts today.<\/p>\n
"In Cieza, 64 homes located near Molinico de la Huerta Street will be repaired, with a total constructed area of more than 6,600 square meters," the director explained. The work on these homes will consist of cleaning and sanitizing the plumbing and repairing the sewage system, storm drains, gutters, and downspouts, as well as repairing water leaks in doors and windows. Work will also be carried out on some structural elements with corrosion problems, and a sloping roof will be built over the space in the building's skylight.<\/p>\n
Laura Sandoval explained that a total of 94 homes will be renovated in Molina de Segura near Federico Garc\u00eda Lorca Street, covering a total area of more than 7,900 square meters. This group's work will consist of replacing rain gutters, roofs, and lattices on the facades, as well as repairing other elements of the ground floor.<\/p>\n
The bidding budget for the Molina de Segura homes is over \u20ac109,000, with a 10-week completion period; while in Cieza, \u20ac105,000 will be invested, with a 14-week completion period.<\/p>\n
