{"id":3921,"date":"2018-02-19T17:15:52","date_gmt":"2018-02-19T16:15:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ciezaentumano.com\/?p=3921"},"modified":"2018-03-03T03:04:30","modified_gmt":"2018-03-03T02:04:30","slug":"ix-subida-al-portazgo-xiii-dia-regional-del-senderista-region-murcia-2018-cieza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ciezaentumano.com\/en\/ix-subida-al-portazgo-xiii-dia-regional-del-senderista-region-murcia-2018-cieza\/","title":{"rendered":"IX Portazgo Climb and XIII Regional Hiking Day of the Region of Murcia 2018 in Cieza"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Next Saturday, March 3, 2018, the IX Subida al Portazgo and the XIII edition of the Regional Day of the Hiker in the Region of Murcia will take place, an activity in which hikers, mountaineers and nature lovers from all the &quot;Clubs of the FMRM, Mountain Federation of the Region of Murcia&quot; will meet, on this occasion the organizer is the Hiking and Mountain Club EL PORTAZGO of Cieza.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time and on the same day, the IX Subida al Portazgo will take place, taking place in different locations in the municipality of Cieza, with the start and finish in the La Era area.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>XIII Regional Hiking Day of the Region of Murcia 2018 in Cieza, the following three routes will be carried out:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">1.- \u201cFERNANDO GALINDO ROUTE\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For logistical reasons, this route is limited to 250 participants and will take place in the Ca\u00f1adas and El Horno areas.<\/p>\n<p>Distance: 10 km Elevation gain: + 60 m Estimated time: 3.5 h<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">2.- &quot;THE LITTLE WITCH&quot;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This route is the longest and gives us the opportunity to enjoy the flowering fields and some mountains.<\/p>\n<p>Distance: 11 km. Total elevation gain: 160 m. Estimated time: 4 h.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>3.- \u00abTHE BRIDGES\u00bb<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This route is designed with Nordic walking, children, adults, and hiking beginners in mind.<\/p>\n<p>Distance: 8 km. Elevation gain: 25 m. Estimated time: 3 h (7 km option with 0 m elevation gain).<\/p>\n<p>Lunch breaks will be made on all routes, with refreshments available throughout the day and a support vehicle on hand.<\/p>\n<p>SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 7:30 a.m.: Breakfast for participants, in the designated area next to the La Era football field.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.: Registration process, collection of race numbers, sandwiches, T-shirts, and commemorative gifts for all participants.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 9:15 a.m.: Departure by bus for participants on the \u201cFernando Galindo\u201d route.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 9:30 a.m.: Start of the La Brujilla route.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 9:45 a.m.: Start of the Cieza Bridges route.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 1:00 p.m.: Lunch (lunch will be served from this time onwards).<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 2:00 p.m.: Raffle for gifts and prizes among participants. Presentation of awards, trophies, and recognitions. TESTS AND CATEGORIES<\/p>\n<p>It will consist of two tests:<\/p>\n<p>A) Senior Category (Absolute): With a circular route of 25 km, passing through the Atalaya de Cieza and Sierra del Oro areas, accumulating a cumulative elevation gain of 1,500 meters. The race starts at 9:00 a.m. Only runners aged 21 or over, or who will turn 21 during 2018, are eligible to participate.<\/p>\n<p>MALE:<br \/>\n\u2013 Senior Category: from 21 years of age, having reached this age during 2018.<br \/>\n\u00a7 Promise Subcategory: 21, 22 and 23 years old, who have not turned 24<br \/>\nduring 2018.<br \/>\n\u00a7 Veteran Subcategory A: from 40 to 50, who do not turn 51 during<br \/>\n2018.<br \/>\n\u00a7 Veteran B Subcategory: from 51 years of age, upon reaching this age<br \/>\nduring 2018.<\/p>\n<p>FEMALE:<br \/>\n\u2013 Senior Category: from 21 years of age, having reached this age during 2018.<br \/>\n\u00a7 Promise Subcategory: 21, 22 and 23 years old, who have not turned 24<br \/>\nduring 2018.<br \/>\n\u00a7 Veteran Subcategory A: from 40 to 50, who do not turn 51 during<br \/>\n2018.<br \/>\n\u00a7 Veteran Subcategory B: from 51 years of age, upon reaching this age<br \/>\nduring 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The age to be taken into account will be the runner&#039;s age as of December 31, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>B) Cadet and Junior Categories: With a circular route and a distance of 14 km and 658 m of accumulated positive elevation gain, which<br \/>\nIt will take place around the Atalaya mountain in Cieza, for the Cadet and Junior categories, although runners from other categories are also welcome to register. The start and finish line will be at 10:00 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>MALE:<br \/>\n\u2013 Cadet Category for ages 15-16-17.<br \/>\n\u2013 Junior Category: 18, 19 and 20 years old (those who will not turn 21 in 2018).<br \/>\nFEMALE:<br \/>\n\u2013 Cadet Category for ages 15-16-17.<br \/>\n\u2013 Junior Category: 18, 19 and 20 years old (those who will not turn 21 in 2018).<\/p>\n<p>The age to be taken into account will be the runner&#039;s age as of December 31, 2018.<br \/>\n*Except for 15-year-old runners, who must be 15 years of age on the date of the race.<\/p>\n<p>2. REGISTRATIONS<\/p>\n<p>A total of 600 runners will be eligible to participate in both events. Runners may register until the quota is reached.<br \/>\nThe registration period begins on December 15, 2017, starting at 8:00 a.m. for runners registered with FMRM or FEDME, and from (one week later) in 2017 for the rest of the runners.<\/p>\n<p>Registration will be done online through the website:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.asuspuestos.com\/evento\/ix-subida-al-portazgo-2018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.asuspuestos.com\/evento\/ix-subida-al-portazgo-2018<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Registration closes on Wednesday, March 1st, at 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Only federated runners will be able to register on the day of the race (March 3, 2018), at the bib distribution stand, until 8:00 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>As a general rule, once the registration has been processed by the runner and validated and confirmed, the registration fee will not be refunded.<\/p>\n<p>Only for Federated runners: The exchange of registrations between federated runners is allowed, until February 24, without<br \/>\nno expense whatsoever.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of non-federated runners, the exchange of race numbers must be expressly authorized by the organizer.<br \/>\nRegistration for minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a duly completed Parental Consent Form, accompanied by a photocopy of the identity documents of each and every one of the signatories. In the case of a legal representative, a document proving such status must also be provided.<\/p>\n<p>3. REGISTRATION FEE<\/p>\n<p>The registration fee for race A (25 km) is 25 euros for FMRM and FEDME members and 30 euros for members other than FMRM and FEDME and non-members.<\/p>\n<p>The registration fee for race B (14 km) is 25 euros for FMRM and FEDME members and 30 euros for members other than FMRM and FEDME and non-members.<\/p>\n<p>Registration entitles you to: participation in the race, accident and liability insurance, medical assistance, a runner&#039;s bag, refreshments, physiotherapy services, free parking, a cloakroom, showers, a meal after the race, and any gifts the organizers collect.<\/p>\n<p>4. TECHNICAL TALK<\/p>\n<p>On March 2, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., a technical talk on the race route will be given by Jos\u00e9 Antonio Morote, a member of the organization and circuit designer. This will be followed by Mr. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Polo Madinabeitia, Medical Director of Mediplan Sport in Vitoria-Gasteiz, who will give a talk on Sports Medicine, &quot;An Approach for Neophytes.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>These talks will take place in the classrooms of the San Bartolom\u00e9 public school, located on Paseo de Ronda in Cieza (opposite the finish line).<\/p>\n<p>5. BIB NUMBERS AND CONTROL CHIP<\/p>\n<p>Race numbers, race chip, and runner&#039;s bag can be collected on March 2, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the building adjacent to the La Era de Cieza football field (nursery classrooms at the San Bartolom\u00e9 public school). Race day can be collected from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the same location.<\/p>\n<p>It will be essential to present your ID, and for federated athletes, your federation card as well, to collect your race numbers.<\/p>\n<p>At 8:45 a.m., race numbers and chips will be checked for the first and second races.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the race, you must return the control chip and collect the documentation provided at the start of the race.<\/p>\n<p>6. MANDATORY MATERIAL<\/p>\n<p>Windbreakers may be checked at the start and\/or at any checkpoint, refreshment point, or finish line. The organizers may decide that their use is not required if weather conditions are suitable. This will be announced a few days beforehand via Facebook, the website, a technical briefing, and at the start.<\/p>\n<p>Water container (hydration backpack, bottle, cup, etc.), the organization will not provide any type of container.<\/p>\n<p>The race judges will be able to check whether the runner is carrying the required equipment.<\/p>\n<p>7. SIGNALS AND CONTROLS<\/p>\n<p>The route will be marked with brightly colored plastic tape, and passage through established checkpoints is mandatory.<\/p>\n<p>These checkpoints will coincide with the refreshment points. There will also be a checkpoint at the Sierra del Oro geodetic vertex.<\/p>\n<p>There will be kilometer references every 5 km.<\/p>\n<p>8. PASSAGE TIMES<\/p>\n<p>A checkpoint will close 45 minutes after the start at kilometer 5 (first refreshment station); another at 1:40 a.m. at kilometer 10 (second refreshment station); another at 3:00 a.m. at kilometer 15 (third refreshment station); and another at 3:30 a.m. at kilometer 20 (fourth refreshment station).<\/p>\n<p>Runners who exceed these times must withdraw from the race, as neither the organizers nor the support services can guarantee coverage.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the &quot;sweeper runners&quot; or the person in charge of each checkpoint will have the authority to withdraw any runner from the race if their race time or health warrants it. Any runner who withdraws must notify the nearest race station and return their race number and chip to the organizers. The checkpoint will close at the FINISH LINE at 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>9. SUPPLIES<\/p>\n<p>There will be 4 refreshment stations, located every 5 km. The 1st and 4th will only have liquids, the rest will have liquids and solids. At the end there will also be<br \/>\nRefreshment at the finish line.
