As part of the 4th Roma Intervention Project, funded by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities and implemented by the Department of Social Welfare of the Cieza City Council, activities will be held to commemorate International Roma Day, beginning this Tuesday and culminating next Friday, April 6.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, a talk entitled "The Soul Has No Color" was held, and the videos "I Am Not a Trapper," "Prejudice," "Starting from Scratch," and "The Soul Has No Color" were shown.<\/p>\n

Today, Wednesday, April 4th, we will participate in radio programs on Onda Cieza and Cadena Cope Vega Alta to report on International Roma Day.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Finally, on Friday, April 6, there will be closing ceremonies for the activities held to commemorate International Roma Day. At 11:00 a.m., in the Cieza Town Hall plenary hall, the manifesto will be read, and diplomas will be presented to the project participants. The reception will be hosted by the Mayor, Pascual Lucas, the Councilor for Social Welfare, Cristina Garc\u00eda-Vaso, and members of the Municipal Council.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, a memorial service will be held in memory of the deceased, with a petal-throwing ceremony in the Arenal del R\u00edo waters and a communal luncheon.
