The Atalaya-Ateneo Club of the Villa de Cieza is once again organizing the 14th Republican and Historical Memory Week during the month of April, coinciding with the anniversary of the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic. This week aims to honor the memory of one of the most important democratic periods in Spanish history.<\/p>\n

Various activities are scheduled for these fourteenth sessions, from April 12 to 20, including a book presentation, a conference, workshops, a thematic exhibition, screenings, and a concert.<\/p>\n

The first of the planned activities takes place this Thursday, April 12, with a meeting about the Civil War with Basque writer Patxi Zubizarreta, who will present his novel "Tres cartas desde Pamplona" (Three Letters from Pamplona), as well as the documentary "Uda minean negua" (Uda minean negua), for which he wrote the script. The documentary will be screened on Friday, April 13, at 8:15 p.m. at the Atalaya Club in Cieza.<\/p>\n
