The Cieza City Council's Crafts Department has informed artisans of the upcoming grants announced by the Ministry of Employment, Universities, and Business.<\/p>\n
Pilar Mart\u00ednez, Councilor for Crafts, reported that the Official Gazette of the Municipality of Madrid (BORM) of April 17 published grants aimed at artisans and artisan businesses. These grants will help them design and innovate, boost their productive activity, improve the safety and quality of their workshops and products, and increase their sales.<\/p>\n
"These grants come at a long-awaited time due to the persistently precarious situation of this sector, which is part of our town's cultural heritage and for which this department is making great efforts," said the municipal department.<\/p>\n
The grants will be for a maximum amount of \u20ac3,000 (excluding VAT) for investments made by artisans. They will be awarded for various reasons, such as strengthening their identity (labeling costs), innovation and design (intellectual property costs, professional designs, etc.), production, quality and ICT (investments in workshops, security systems, testing, etc.), and product communication and marketing.<\/p>\n
The deadline for submitting applications is sixty business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the order in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, and you will therefore have until June 17 to submit applications.<\/p>\n
Finally, the Councilor for Crafts, Pilar Mart\u00ednez, announced that "the Council will be open to providing technical assistance and informing any artisans who wish to receive these grants, as well as doing everything in our power to advise any artisan in Cieza on their application for these subsidies."<\/p>\n
