The 1-1-2 Emergency Coordination Center in the Murcia Region received several calls starting at 7:36 a.m. this morning reporting a traffic accident involving trapped passengers on the A-30 motorway toward Albacete, at kilometer 109, in the municipality of Cieza.<\/p>\n
The caller reports that a car is overturned off the road, about 4 meters away.<\/p>\n
The car is found with its taillights on and overturned upside down.<\/p>\n
The Civil Guard at the scene of the accident reports that the presence of firefighters and paramedics is required.<\/p>\n
They report the seriousness of the driver of the car's condition.<\/p>\n
The driver of the car is in very serious condition and is trapped.<\/p>\n
Road maintenance advised.<\/p>\n
The on-call chief of the Murcia Region Firefighting and Rescue Consortium mobilizes units from the Cieza Regional Park.<\/p>\n
Firefighters proceed to free the driver of the crashed car.<\/p>\n
The Medical Coordinator of the Emergency and Health Care Management mobilizes an ambulance (a Mobile Emergency Unit).<\/p>\n
The death of the driver, a 24-year-old woman, has been confirmed.<\/p>\n
