The Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Consolation of Cieza, in order to promote devotion to our
\nvenerated image, calls for this XII PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE according to the following bases:<\/p>\n
1.- PARTICIPANTS: Participants may participate in the XII PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD \u201cSANTO CRISTO DEL
\nCONSUELO DE CIEZA\u201d, both amateur and professional photographers, excluding members of the Board of Directors of the Brotherhood. Registration is free. There will be a limit of 12 photographs per
\nauthor.<\/p>\n
2.- THEME: The subject of the photographs will be the image of the Most Holy Christ of Consolation of Cieza. Photos that capture any moment of the processions and transfers organized by the Brotherhood will also be accepted, even if the image of the Holy Christ is not included.<\/p>\n
3.- ORIGINALITY OF THE WORK: All works must be original, not presented in any
\nanother contest and are free of rights that they may hold in third parties. They will not be selected
\nPhotographs that have been previously reproduced in newspapers, magazines, catalogs, websites, or any other type of publication. If a photographer wins an award and this limitation is subsequently discovered, the photographer must return the prize.<\/p>\n
4.- TECHNIQUE: May be conventional, digital, or mixed; photomontage or photo collage is permitted. In color, black and white, or other color effects. Horizontal or vertical format.<\/p>\n
5.- PRESENTATION: Photographs must be submitted exclusively in digital format, measuring 30x45cm. (Larger sizes will not be accepted). Photographs may be submitted in two different ways.
\nA) Each author attaches a CD including personal data with the photographs presented in
\nJPG or JPEG digital format with a minimum resolution appropriate for reproduction in a size of 30x45. The photographs may not be signed by the authors.
\nB) An email will be sent with the details of the photographs to jhp.santocristo@gmail.com, the photographs in JPG or JPEG format at a minimum resolution appropriate for reproduction in size 30x45, or on the exchange platform www.transfer.com including the same email as the recipient.<\/p>\n
6.- IDENTIFICATION: With each photograph, the author must complete a sealed envelope containing the following information: the author's full name, address, contact telephone number, and the title of the photograph, if applicable. Works without proper identification will not be entered into the competition.<\/p>\n
7.- ADMISSION PERIOD: It will be between May 27 and 30, 2019 (both inclusive), from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the address of this Brotherhood at Calle Cartas No. 18, ground floor.<\/p>\n
8.- JURY: The jury will be appointed by the Board of Directors of the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Consolation of Cieza. From the total number of photographs submitted, the jury will pre-select 30. These 30 selected photographs will be printed on paper for public exhibition in the "La Pecera" room of the Siy\u00e2sa Museum in Cieza, between June 13 and 28, 2019, during the museum's opening hours. Once the exhibition is over, the photographs will remain on display on the Brotherhood's website.<\/p>\n
9.- PRIZE: The following prizes will be established:<\/p>\n
HONOR AWARD: 500 euros
\nRunner-up 1: 300 euros
\nSecond prize: 200 euros<\/p>\n
In order to encourage participation, no photographer may be eligible for more than one prize. If
\nIf none of the winners are under 18 years of age, it will be established, in addition to the prizes
\nprevious, a YOUNG AUTHOR AWARD, worth 100 euros.<\/p>\n
10.- JURY'S DECISION and the awards ceremony will take place on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the
\nmeeting room of the Holy Week House Museum at 8:00 p.m., the winners must be
\npresent at the event<\/p>\n
11.- RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: The award-winning works will become part of the artistic collections of
\nthe Brotherhood. They may not use them without the Brotherhood's authorization. The rest of the works
\nsubmitted but not awarded prizes will be made available to their authors. A one-month deadline is established
\nFor the collection of the photos, after this period, they will become the property of the Brotherhood. In both cases, the digital format or negative of all photos remains the property of the Brotherhood, and the Brotherhood reserves the right to reproduce and distribute the works, with explicit mention of the author.<\/p>\n
12.- DATA PROTECTION. Please be advised that, since the entry into force of Organic Law 15\/1999 of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, in photographs where minors appear who are not part of the brotherhood's parade, they must appear with their faces veiled or pixelated to prevent their identification. It is understood that if in any of the photographs submitted a minor appears without their face pixelated, the photograph will be considered void.<\/p>\n
At the discretion of the Jury, these awards may be declared void. The Jury's decision is final.<\/p>\n
This Brotherhood will apply the same care and attention to the works received, but declines all responsibility for their loss or deterioration.<\/p>\n
Participation in the XII Photography Award \u201cSANTO CRISTO DEL CONSUELO DE CIEZA\u201d implies total
\nacceptance of these rules. Any unforeseen circumstances will be resolved by the Jury.<\/p>\n
