This was the first of up to 12 stand-up comedy competitions in which he won throughout Spain. Tom\u00e1s Garc\u00eda combined these first steps with his journalism studies at the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the University of M\u00e1laga (and contributing to various radio outlets such as Cadena SER, Onda Cero, and Punto Radio). However, his professional career would take a significant leap forward following his participation in the Spanish television program "El rey de la Comedia," which he was accepted after passing a casting call with more than 3,000 candidates.
