Cieza City Council, in collaboration with the Los Dormis Cultural Association, is organizing the 1st Flowering Motorcycle Tour and Biker Luncheon, which will be held on Sunday morning, February 23rd, as part of the 2020 program designed to promote one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in Cieza's countryside: peach trees in bloom.<\/p>\n

The activity, which will not be competitive, has a social purpose, as, in this first edition, part of the proceeds from participant registrations will be donated to the Down Syndrome Association of Cieza. This non-profit group began operating in 2015 and aims to improve the quality of life of people with Down syndrome and their families, as well as those with other intellectual disabilities, by promoting and supporting full inclusion at all levels: social, educational, and employment.<\/p>\n

The biker event, open to all motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Spain, will begin with the reception and registration of participants at 9:30 a.m. at the La Era sports area. There, a lunch accompanied by music will be held before the start of the route, which will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will run along country roads and rural paths in the municipality of Cieza so that bikers can contemplate and enjoy the fields in bloom.<\/p>\n

The ride, which lasts approximately an hour and a half, will conclude at the starting point, La Era, where the organizers will present personalized commemorative plaques to registered MCs, MGs, motorcycle clubs, and associations, as well as various individual gifts.
