The administrative file has now been completed, allowing the City Council Plenary to adopt the decision to suspend the tax on tables and chairs on terraces. As a result of the global pandemic, the hospitality sector is suffering significant losses that jeopardize the viability of many businesses and, consequently, many jobs, with the serious impact this would entail for so many families in Cieza. Therefore, the Municipal Government has implemented various measures aimed at alleviating the situation and also contributing to the reactivation of the sector.<\/p>\n<p>This measure joins many others already in place, such as the modification of the tax calendar, the reduction of two bimonthly water and sewage bills, the expansion of terrace areas to accommodate more tables and the distance between them, and the implementation of a line of aid for the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n<p>The Municipal Government continues to work closely with retailers and hoteliers to ensure a successful de-escalation, as well as to continue adopting support measures for their economic activities, which can contribute to maintaining employment and ensuring the sustainability of all of them.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we ask all residents of Cieza to continue collaborating as they have been, adhering to the recommendations and safety measures, and we remind everyone that the &quot;de-escalation&quot; is a difficult path in which we must not relax or let our guard down.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<header>\n<div class=\"autor\">Source: Cieza City Council.<\/div>\n<\/header>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Gobierno Municipal contin\u00faa desarrollando su plan de medidas fiscales anunciado el d\u00eda 6 de Abril, por \u00e9ste motivo ya se ha completado el expediente administrativo, para que el Pleno del Ayuntamiento adopte la decisi\u00f3n de la suspensi\u00f3n de la tasa fiscal por mesas y sillas en terrazas.
