{"id":8601,"date":"2020-10-02T22:29:07","date_gmt":"2020-10-02T20:29:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ciezaentumano.com\/?p=8601"},"modified":"2020-10-10T23:00:36","modified_gmt":"2020-10-10T21:00:36","slug":"colegio-oficial-periodistas-pone-valor-proyecto-floracion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ciezaentumano.com\/en\/colegio-oficial-periodistas-pone-valor-proyecto-floracion\/","title":{"rendered":"The Official College of Journalists highlights the Floraci\u00f3n project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Interpretation Centre of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CanonAlmadenes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Almadenes Canyon<\/a> It hosted the presentation of the works on Cieza carried out in the Yearbook of the Region of Murcia published by the Official College of Journalists.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The dean of the College of Journalists of the Region of Murcia, Arturo Andreu Andreu, together with the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas D\u00edaz, presented the articles about the town that headline the 2019 Yearbook of the Region of Murcia. This publication, edited for almost three decades by the body that brings together the journalists of the Region, covers the most important events of the year, with the flowering of Cieza and its cultural and natural offerings occupying the first pages of this edition.<\/p>\n<p>The publication, which is now available on the journalists&#039; website, was created under the direction of Arturo Andreu, who oversaw the work of more than twenty journalists and contributors. The Yearbook is sent to libraries, universities, companies, and various other institutions interested in it, as well as to journalists&#039; associations throughout Spain.<\/p>\n<p>The 2019 Yearbook of the Region of Murcia opens its cover with a beautiful photograph of the peach blossom in Cieza, a spectacle that, during the months of February and March each year, fills the Cieza plain with light and color and attracts thousands of tourists from the Region, from Spain, and from abroad. \u201cWe wanted to pay tribute to the tourism sector, which must be fundamental to the recovery of the regional economy in the coming years, and to the town of Cieza, which in recent years has been making an enormous effort, full of imagination and hard work, to showcase its rich landscape, culture, archaeology, and festivals, all grouped under the name: \u00ab<strong>&quot;Flowering,&quot; declared the dean of the College of Journalists, Arturo Andreu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith this outstanding work, Cieza has received recognition from the College of Journalists. This recognition belongs to all citizens: to the hoteliers, shopkeepers, tourism companies, museums, artists\u2014to everyone, because their effort and dedication have allowed us to take the name of Cieza beyond our borders,\u201d explained Mayor Pascual Lucas, who added, \u201cThis is just the beginning, as Cieza has a solid, efficient, and responsible project that will allow us to continue strengthening and enhancing the town&#039;s assets.\u201d The presentation took place at the Almadenes Canyon Interpretation Center, a place nestled in the heart of nature that is now reopening.<\/p>\n<p>At the event, which was attended by various authorities from the town of Cieza, the dean of the College of Journalists was accompanied by the vice-dean, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Serrano Climen; the secretary, Julia Uriol Gimeno; the treasurer and head of Corporate Social Responsibility, Marta Isabel Garc\u00eda Rivas; and the honorary president of the institution, Juan Antonio De Heras y Tudela.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Centro de Interpretaci\u00f3n del Ca\u00f1\u00f3n de Almadenes acogi\u00f3 la presentaci\u00f3n de los trabajos sobre Cieza realizados en el Anuario de la Regi\u00f3n de Murcia que edita el Colegio Oficial de Periodistas.
