The Minister of Transparency, Participation and Public Administration, Beatriz Ballesteros, inaugurated the Basic Course on Tracking and Monitoring of People Affected by Covid-19, which will be taught over two weekends at the facilities of the University Campus of Lorca, and has been registered by 264 professionals and volunteers from Civil Protection from 29 municipalities in the Region of Murcia.<\/p>\n
Ballesteros emphasized that \u201cthis ambitious training plan, promoted by the General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies, the General Directorate of Public Health and Addictions, and the Lorca City Council, is designed to increase the number of personnel in the various municipalities dedicated to controlling the spread of the epidemic. To accommodate all those registered, it will be held over two separate Saturday sessions, bringing together 132 professionals in each session for the Basic Course on Tracing and Monitoring of People Affected by Covid-19. This will be followed later by another 40 students in the Covid-19 Tracing and Monitoring Supervisor Course.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also specified that "for the proper management of the resources required in the deployment of these training actions, the registered professionals will be grouped by municipalities belonging to different health areas."<\/p>\n
The training plan for the Basic Course on Tracing and Monitoring of Affected Persons is divided into five modules that include basic concepts of SARS-CoV-2 and symptomatology of the infection; epidemiological generalities of Covid-19, transmissibility of the disease and prevention measures and evolution of the epidemic; tracing procedures and technological tools for tracing contacts and monitoring of positive cases; ethics and protection of privacy in the monitoring process and data protection; and effective communication techniques.<\/p>\n
The Covid-19 Tracking and Monitoring Supervisor Course includes four modules that highlight knowledge about the concept of a municipal Covid Tracking and Monitoring Center; organization and advanced monitoring procedures; operational strategies and generation of early alerts; and outbreak management.<\/p>\n
The municipalities that will participate in the training plan are Albudeite, Alcantarilla, Alhama de Murcia, Blanca, Ceut\u00ed, Cieza, Fortuna, Fuente \u00c1lamo, La Uni\u00f3n, Las Torres de Cotillas, Librilla, Lorqu\u00ed, Molina de Segura, Mula, Murcia, Oj\u00f3s, Pliego, Ricote, Ulea, Villanueva del R\u00edo Segura, Bullas, Calasparra, Ceheg\u00edn, Caravaca de la Cruz, Jumilla, Los Alc\u00e1zares, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Torre Pacheco.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
