Virtual events and memories.<br \/>\nto the participants of this genuine celebration in this town -Cieza- of 35,000<br \/>\ninhabitants located in the Mediterranean region of Murcia, in Spain, have been a success<br \/>\nThe call to action was made through social media and regional television.<\/p>\n<p>A festival on the verge of being declared of International Tourist Interest, especially<br \/>\nfor the beauty, emotion, and artistic value of its Good Friday processions, and<br \/>\nwhich has not been brought down by the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, everything<br \/>\ncontrary.<\/p>\n<p>The Cieza City Council, together with the Board of Brotherhoods, programmed for this<br \/>\nHoly Week, a full program of events reminiscent of the traditional festival and<br \/>\nwith which they intended to save this 2021 - the second without celebrations - from the best<br \/>\nas possible. That&#039;s why a series of activities were devised and broadcast<br \/>\nvirtually and which served to keep the flame of Holy Week alive,<br \/>\nRemembering each day of this magical celebration, through interviews and images of<br \/>\npast editions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Good Friday<\/strong><br \/>\nThe culmination of the program took place on Good Friday, the most anticipated moment.<br \/>\nof Holy Week in Cieza. Thousands of people from all over the world witnessed a<br \/>\nan unprecedented musical and religious experience in the world of Holy Week, and that<br \/>\nIt transported the people of Cieza and lovers of this festival located all over the world to<br \/>\nan almost real-life setting for this very special day. They were able to witness fragments of the<br \/>\nprocessions, identifying the characters in the floats and even listening to the marches<br \/>\nprocessional floats that performed live in previous sessions recorded at the Theatre<br \/>\nCapitol complies with all the safety regulations established by the protocol<br \/>\nCOVID.<\/p>\n<p>The program broadcast by Redes and the regional television station of Murcia featured a<br \/>\nA special dedicated to the Procession of the Penitent, a second part to the Procession of the<br \/>\nHoly Burial, and a special final program on Good Friday with interviews<br \/>\ncustomized.<\/p>\n<p>Some programs featured real images of the processions from years past.<br \/>\nPrevious fragments of the processions and their characters captured in the Theater in the<br \/>\nthe aforementioned performance and the interpretation of marches by the Group<br \/>\nMusical Averroes of the OJE of Cieza.<\/p>\n<p>A spectacle never before seen, and which, in the words of the mayor, Pascual Lucas,<br \/>\n\u201cHe moved the people of Cieza, reminding them that the future is possible, it is near and<br \/>\nthat we will soon be able to experience firsthand and in the streets during our Week<br \/>\nHoly Week. Cieza couldn&#039;t afford to go two years in a row without it. Let&#039;s hope that<br \/>\n&quot;In 2022, our Fiesta will return to the streets.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>A special Holy Week filled with images, music, memories and characters<br \/>\nrelated to Holy Week that served to show the world the fervent<br \/>\ndevotion that Cieza experiences and that confirms its genuine motto which reads: Holy Week of<br \/>\nCieza: A town, a passion, a feeling.<br \/>\nGlobal data<\/p>\n<p>A detailed analysis of this week&#039;s social media audience data<br \/>\nSanta Ciezana yields some interesting audience and follower data; both<br \/>\nboth quantitatively and qualitatively. Thus, between March 15 and April 5, the Networks<br \/>\nSocial events from Holy Week in Cieza garnered 400,000 impressions, close to<br \/>\n50,000 interactions with people from all over the world. Nearly<br \/>\n150,000 views of the videos produced for this virtual Holy Week.<br \/>\nRegarding the broadcasts on Murcia&#039;s regional television, the response<br \/>\nAlso exceptional, with more than 60,000 people connected to the signal on Friday.<br \/>\nSanto, being one of the most watched programs of the day.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the origin of the people who connected to the Networks<br \/>\nSocial events during Holy Week in Cieza to enjoy this cultural spectacle-<br \/>\nThe religious landscape is very diverse, with a strong response in the Americas.<br \/>\nespecially in Mexico, the United States, Colombia, Peru, and Argentina.
