Sources from the Cieza City Council have reported that the III Emergency Intervention Battalion (BIEM III) will be trained, among the October 18th and 22nd,<\/strong> in a multi-risk training exercise in the Region of Murcia, in preparation for the rescue and flood campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Military Emergency Unit will be deployed in the Region of Murcia between October 18 and 22.<\/strong>, with the aim of developing a multi-risk training exercise, focused on preparing for the rescue and flood campaign. In total, 340 soldiers with 128 vehicles from BIEM III<\/strong> those projected from Valencia to the towns of Cieza and Calasparra<\/strong>, where logistics bases will be established.<\/p>\n

In addition, there will be support from the Emergency Helicopter Battalion II<\/strong> (BHELEME II). The main objectives of the exercise include carrying out a real activation and projection by road of the entire Battalion, the search and rescue of missing persons in floods<\/strong>, the rescue and evacuation of victims in earthquakes, the securing of collapsed buildings and the installation of a first-aid post.<\/p>\n
