The Board of Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza, in order to stimulate artistic creation in the field of visual representation and proceed to the selection of the Posters for Holy Week in Cieza 2023, announces this XXXV Contest in accordance with the following RULES:<\/p>\n

.<\/p>\n

1. Anyone who wishes to participate may do so, without any limitations.<\/p>\n

.
\n2. The theme of the works will be FREE, but always referring to Holy Week in Cieza.<\/p>\n

.
\n3. The submitted works must be unpublished. Those that could be
\nhave been previously reproduced in the press, catalogues or any other type of
\npublication, as well as those that may have been presented or awarded
\npreviously, in this or other competitions.<\/p>\n

.
\n4. Characteristics of the works: COLOR or BLACK AND WHITE, in any of its techniques
\nand variants (photography, montage, painting, digital painting, etc.), including treatment
\ncomputer, with VERTICAL orientation, with a resolution of 254 dpi and dimensions of 50\u00d770 cm.<\/p>\n

\n5. Two forms of presentation:
\n\u2022 A CD\/DVD or USB will be delivered including personal data and the works in
\nJPG or JPEG format at maximum resolution (it is not necessary to send any printed work).
\n\u2022 An email with the details of the works will be sent to jhp.secretaria@gmail.com and the works
\nin JPG or JPEG format at maximum resolution (it is not necessary to send any printed work)
\nor on the exchange platform www.wetransfer.com including as recipient the
\nsame email.
\nThe works may not be signed by their authors; a digital copy must be included in a sealed envelope, along with the author's details (title, name, address, telephone number, and email).<\/p>\n

In case the work is a painting or other technique that cannot be delivered digitally,
\nIt will be delivered in person, according to base 7a, next Friday, November 4th.
\n7pm to 9pm.<\/p>\n

\n6. Each author may submit a maximum of 8 works.<\/p>\n

\n7. The works must be delivered in either of the two ways between Monday, October 24
\nand Friday, November 4, 2022; in person only Friday, November 4 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at
\nthe Holy Week House-Museum of Cieza, C\/C\u00e1novas del Castillo no 7 \u2013 Cieza (Murcia).
\nOnce the deadline has closed, no works will be accepted.<\/p>\n

\n8. A jury appointed for this purpose, whose composition will be made public at the same time as the verdict.
\nissued, will make a preliminary selection of 20 works from among all the works presented
\nfinalists (under rules 2a, 3a and 4a and the quality of their possible reproduction) for their
\nexhibition at the Holy Week House-Museum in Cieza between November 14 and 4
\nDecember 2022 (only printed by the Board of Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza)
\nthe finalist works).<\/p>\n

\n9. From among all the selected and exhibited works, the jury will award, on the designated days
\naccording to base 10a, the following PRIZES:
\n\u2022 FIRST PRIZE, worth 500 euros and the publication of the Advertising Poster for
\nHoly Week in Cieza 2023.
\n\u2022 SECOND PRIZE, worth 300 euros and the publication of the Poster for the Events
\nof the Holy Week Proclamation of Cieza 2023.
\n\u2022 THIRD PRIZE, worth 200 euros and the publication of the Guide as a Poster
\nEvents and Processions of Holy Week in Cieza 2023.<\/p>\n

Cash prizes will not be cumulative if both coincide in one
\nsame person.
\nOnce the preliminary selection has been made, the Prizes and subsequent ones could be
\ndeclared void if the number of works applying for them is less than
\ntwenty and if, in that case, none of those presented meet, in the opinion of the jury, the
\nconditions to be awarded the same.
\nParticipants in this competition who pass the selection round and
\nThose who qualify and are finalists will receive a copy of El Anda magazine.
\ncorresponding to Holy Week in Cieza 2023, as long as it is printed.<\/p>\n

\n10. The presentation of the finalist works will take place on Saturday, November 12, starting at
\n7:00 p.m. at the Holy Week House-Museum in Cieza.
\nThe FIRST and SECOND PRIZE will be presented at the Presentation Ceremony of the
\nHoly Week in Cieza 2023, on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Basilica of Our Lady of
\nthe Assumption; the awards ceremony will be held during the course of the ceremony.
\nTHIRD PRIZE will be revealed in January at the presentation of the Guide of Events
\nand Processions of Holy Week in Cieza 2023; during the course of the same the
\npresentation of said award.<\/p>\n

\n11. All works, both
\nthe three award-winning works, as well as the finalist works; this reserves the exclusive right to
\npublic use and reproduction as often as it deems appropriate. The Brotherhood Board
\nPasionarias de Cieza will try to edit and disseminate through its various publications,
\nalways stating the name of the author in all cases.<\/p>\n

\n12. The authors of the winning works and the finalist works undertake not to make use of
\nany of them, nor reproduce, publish or display either completely or partially the
\nsame without the authorization of the Board of Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza in the period
\nbetween the day of publication of the judgment and September 30, 2022 (in case
\nOtherwise, the corresponding prize will be cancelled in all its terms and
\nconsequences). After this period, those contestants who give in to any
\nother publications or exhibitions of the winning works in this competition will state this
\ncircumstance at the foot of them.<\/p>\n

\n13. Material not referred to in base 11a will be returned to its authors through the same channel as
\nthat was submitted, provided it is requested in writing, from the day following the closing
\nfrom the exhibition and up to one month after. After this time, the material that has not been
\nbeen removed by its authors and will become the property of the Board of Passion Brotherhoods of
\nCieza.<\/p>\n

\n14. The jury's decision will be final. Any circumstance not foreseen in these rules will be
\nalso resolved in an unappealable manner by the jury, having heard the opinion of the Board of Brotherhoods
\nPassionflowers of Cieza. Participation in this contest implies acceptance of
\nits bases, as well as the jury and its decision.<\/p>\n

\n15. DATA PROTECTION. All participants in the event are hereby informed of the following:
\npresent competition, which, due to the entry into force of the LOPD of a personal nature, the works
\nwhere minors appear who are not an active part of the processional parades,
\nThese must appear in the submitted work with their faces veiled or pixelated, to avoid their
\nidentification, or the author of the selected work, collect and gather consent
\nexpress permission of the minor's parents to proceed with its publication. In the event of not being able to obtain
\nThis consent, the selected work will be considered as not complying with the bases of the
\npresent competition and will be declared void.<\/p>\n
