The Board of Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza, in order to stimulate artistic creation in the field of
the Photography and proceed to the selection of the Posters for Holy Week in Cieza 2022, calls this
XXXIV Contest according to the following
BASES:
1. All people may participate who wish to do so, without any limitation.
2. The subject of the photographs will be FREE, but always referring to Holy Week in Cieza.
3. The photographs submitted must be unpublished. Photographs that are not identical will not be selected.
could have been previously reproduced in the press, catalogues, posters or any other
other types of publication, as well as those that may have been presented or resulted
previously awarded in this or other competitions.
4. Characteristics of the works: photographs in COLOR or BLACK AND WHITE, in any of
its techniques and variants, including computer processing, with VERTICAL orientation, with
resolution of 254ppi and dimensions 50×70 cm.
5. Two forms of presentation:
• A CD/DVD or USB will be deliveredIncluding personal data and photographs in
JPG or JPEG format at maximum resolution (it is not necessary to send a printed photograph)

7. The photographs must be submitted in either form between Monday 25th
October and Tuesday, November 2, 2021; in person only Tuesday, November 2, from 7 p.m. to
9pm at the Holy Week House-Museum of Cieza, C/Cánovas del Castillo n° 7 – Cieza
(Murcia). Once the deadline has closed, no photographs will be accepted.
8. A jury appointed for this purpose, and whose composition will be made public at the same time as the ruling
issued, will make a preliminary selection of 20 from among all the photographs submitted
finalist photographs (under the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rules and the quality of their possible
reproduction) for exhibition at the Holy Week House-Museum in Cieza between the
November 15 and December 3, 2021 (only printed by the Board of
Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza the finalist photographs).
9. From among all the photographs selected and exhibited, the jury will award, previously to
the public opening of the exhibition, the following PRIZES:
• FIRST PRIZE, worth 500 euros and the editing of photography as Sign
Announcer of Holy Week in Cieza 2022.
• SECOND PRIZE, worth 300 euros and the edition as Poster of the Guide of
Acts and Processions of Holy Week in Cieza 2022.
• THIRD PRIZE, worth 200 euros and the edition as Poster of the Events of the
Proclamation of Holy Week in Cieza 2022.
Cash prizes will not be cumulative. If both coincide in one
same person.
Once the preliminary selection has been made, the 1st and subsequent Prizes could be
declared void if the number of photographs competing for them is less than
twenty and if, in that case, none of those presented meet, in the opinion of the jury, the
conditions to be awarded the same.

11. All photographs will remain the property of the Board of Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza,

exclusive right of public use and reproduction as many times as it deems appropriate.
The Board of Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza will endeavor to publish and disseminate through its various
publications, always stating in all cases the name of the author of the
same.
12. The authors of the three winning photographs and the finalist photographs undertake to
not to make any use of them, nor reproduce, publish or display in full or
partially the same without the authorization of the Board of Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza
in the period between the day of publication of the judgment and September 30, 2022
(otherwise the corresponding prize will be cancelled in all its terms and
consequences). After this period, those contestants who give in to any
other publications or exhibitions the winning photographs in this contest will be recorded
said circumstance at the foot of the same.
13. Photographic material not mentioned in base 11 will be returned. to its authors for the same
channel through which it was presented, provided that it is requested in writing, from the day
following the closing of the exhibition and up to one month after. After this time, the
Material that has not been removed by its authors will remain the property of the Board of
Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza.
14. The jury's decision will be final. Any circumstance not foreseen in these bases will be
also resolved in an unappealable manner by the jury, having heard the opinion of the Board of Brotherhoods
Passionflowers of Cieza. Participation in this contest implies acceptance of
its bases, as well as the jury and its decision.
15. DATA PROTECTION. It is hereby brought to the attention of all participants in the
present contest, which due to the entry into force of the LOPD of a personal nature, the
