Emergency services have rescued, treated, and taken to hospital the two occupants of a car that left the road it was traveling on and fell from a bridge onto a railway track, very close to the Ascoy industrial estate in Cieza.

At 9:28 a.m., 1-1-2 received calls from witnesses of the accident, who had seen it from the A-30 motorway. Civil Guard patrols, firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium (CEIS), and ambulances with medical personnel from the 061 Emergency and Emergency Management Service were mobilized to the scene. The railway infrastructure manager, ADIF, was also notified.

After being rescued by firefighters, the injured were taken to the hospital. A 28-year-old woman was seriously injured and taken to the "Virgen de la Arrixaca" Hospital in Murcia. A man of unknown age was taken to the "Lorenzo Guirao" Hospital in Cieza.
